Országos rendezvénysorozattal ünnepel a harmincéves magyar IQ-klub

A magyarok legintelligensebb 2%-át tömörítő Mensa HungarIQa Egyesület 2023 márciusában ünnepli harmincadik születésnapját. A számos hírességet sorai között tudó szervezet a jeles évforduló alkalmából országos rendezvénysorozattal, IQ-napokkal és helyszíni tesztírási lehetőséggel népszerűsíti az intelligenciát és a problémamegoldó gondolkodás fontosságát.

Az elmúlt harminc évben a Mensa HungarIQa számos kezdeményezéssel, programmal irányította rá a figyelmet az intelligencia fontosságára. 2003-ban és 2005-ben IQ – Az ország tesztje címmel szerveztek egész estés televíziós intelligenciatesztet az RTL Klubbal együttműködve. A Mensa-futballválogatott 2005-ben nyerte el első világbajnoki címét, amelyet azóta újabb címvédésekkel toldott meg. A 2010-es években érettségizők és felsőoktatási hallgatók tízezrei mérhették meg intelligenciájukat a Diákhitel Központtal közösen szervezett Nagy Diák IQ-teszt révén. Több mint egy évtizede vesznek részt kis-, közép- és nagyvállalatok alkalmazottainak ezrei Az Év Intelligens Vállalata versenyen. 2015-től pedig a magyar Balanyi Bibiána tölthette be az angliai székhelyű Mensa International elnöki tisztjét négy évig.
