Országos Beatles találkozó a Kobuciban

    Paul McCartney 80. születésnapja után egy nappal, június 19-én rendezik az idei országos Beatles találkozót. A Kobuci kertbe szerveződő esemény fővédnöke Jon Keats, a legendás liverpooli Cavern Club igazgatója.

    Mielőtt a Beatles elindult a világhírnév felé vezető úton, 1961 és 1963 között 292 alkalommal lépett fel a Cavern Clubban.


    „Jon Keats figyelemmel kíséri a Bits tevékenységét, mi is mintegy húsz koncertet adtunk már a világ legnagyobb Beatles eseményén, a Beatle Week-en” – idézte Derecskei Zsoltot, az országos Beatles találkozó főszervezőjét, a legautentikusabb magyar Beatles-tribute zenekar, a Bits tagját az MTI-hez kedden eljuttatott közlemény.


    Mint írták, Paul McCartney 80. születésnapjára az egész világ készül, a magyar Beatles rajongók pedig hagyományosan – idén hetedik alkalommal – gyűlnek össze Budapesten, Magyarország legnagyobb Beatles eseményén június 19-én 16 órától az óbudai Kobuci kertben.


    A rendezvényen a Bits három koncertblokkot is előad. Vendégművészként fellép Petruska András egy általa erre az alkalomra készített Beatles-műsorral. A találkozón lesz a nagyszabású Beatles kvízjáték döntője, amelynek értékes nyereménye egy eredeti Höfner hegedűalakú basszusgitár. A Höfner gitárgyár jóvoltából gitárritkaságokat lehet kézbe fogni a helyszínen.
