Heltai Jenő: Négy fal közöttA Magvető Kiadó régi adósságot törleszt, amikor Heltai Jenő kéziratban maradt, mindmáig kiadatlan háborús naplóinak publikálására vállalkozik. Az örökösök döntése következtében a szöveg több mint hetven év után most láthat napvilágot, amikor a történetnek már valamennyi szereplője elhunyt. A szerző így írt a keletkezés körülményeiről: „A német bevonulás napján határoztam el, hogy napról napra pontosan följegyzem, mi történik körülöttem és velem. 1944. március 19-én fogtam bele a naplóírásba. Körülbelül egy esztendeig, 1945 márciusáig írtam ezt a naplót. Följegyzéseimet, alig tizenkét keserves hónap keserű gyümölcsét aktatáskámban mindenféle viharokon keresztül rendületlenül magammal cipeltem.” Heltai Jenő naplóját magyarázó jegyzetekkel, annotált névmutatóval ellátva tesszük közzé a szerző halálának hatvanadik évfordulóján.
