„Csalóka mű Madách Tragédiája, mert a felszínen a cselekmény jól követhető: Lucifer pimaszsága, a rabszolga halála, Keplerné hűtlensége, az Eszkimó félelme. Az alapkérdés, a mélység is érthető: ha nem tudjuk, miért létezünk, akkor legalább küszködjünk derekasan. De a kettőt összefűző gondolatszövet már nehezen érthető, könnyen elsiklik fölötte olvasó is, rendező is. Mit mond pontosan az ironikus Lucifer, a hímsoviniszta Ádám, és végül az Úr, aki mellébeszél? Ezt kívánjuk kibogozni, az eddigi kiadásoknál jóval alaposabban. E célból Madách eredeti szövegével párhuzamosan, a szemközti könyvoldalon prózai fordítást adunk mai magyar nyelven.”
