A Pepsi 3,2 milliárd dollárért megveszi az izraeli SodaStreamet

Az amerikai PepsiCo Inc. 3,2 milliárd dollárért (több mint kilencszázmilliárd forintért) megveszi az otthoni szódagépeket gyártó izraeli SodaStream International céget – jelentette a helyi média hétfőn.

A Pepsi darabonként 144 dollárért, a részvény pénteki tőzsdei záróértékénél 10,9 százalékkal magasabb árért vásárolja fel a cég összes részvényét.

Az akvizícióra már mindkét vállalat igazgatótanácsa rábólintott. A tranzakcióról még szavazniuk kell a SodaStream részvényeseinek, és az ügyletet az illetékes hatóságoknak is jóvá kell még hagyniuk.

Az 1991-ben alapított SodaStream 3500 alkalmazottal havonta közel félmillió szódagépet gyárt, amelyeket negyvenhat országban értékesítenek szerte a világon.
