Donald Trump leendő elnök Hollywoodért felelős különleges megbízottá nevezte ki Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson és Jon Voight színész-rendezőket csütörtökön.

A január 20-án hivatalba lépő elnök Truth Social közösségi oldalán is közzétett bejelentése szerint a három világszerte jól ismert filmes művész „különleges nagyköveteként” Hollywood-ban dolgozik majd, amelyet a leendő elnök „nagyszerű, de gondokkal küzdő helyként” jellemzett.

Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson és Jon Voight feladataként azt jelölte meg, hogy „minden korábbinál nagyobbá, jobbá, és erősebbé építsék vissza Hollywoodot, ami az elmúlt négy évben rengeteg megbízást veszített el a külföld javára”. „Ez a három nagyon tehetséges ember a szemem és fülem lesz, én pedig azt fogom tenni, amit javasolnak” – fogalmazott Donald Trump, és hozzátette, csakúgy, mint az Egyesült Államok számára, Hollywood számára is ismét az „aranykor” jön el.
