Táphiány van az állatmenhelyeken

    Az új koronavírus-járvány miatt az állatmenhelyek rendkívül súlyos táphiányban szenvednek – hívta fel a figyelmet kedden a Magyar Állatvédők Országos Szervezete (MÁOSZ).

    A szervezet MTI-hez eljuttatott közleményében arra kéri a lakosságot, hogy tápadománnyal segítse az állatmenhelyeket. Ez online rendeléssel és fizetéssel otthonról is megoldható – tették hozzá.


    A MÁOSZ közölte: Magyarországon mintegy 140 aktív, a feladatellátással közvetlenül foglalkozó ilyen szervezet működik, amelyből mintegy 80, nagy létszámú menhelyet üzemeltet. Ezek egyszerre összesen mintegy 8-10 ezer kisállatot, kutyát, macskát gondoznak.


    Az állatmenhelyek és az állattartó telepek zavartalan működése nemcsak állatvédelmi-, hanem kiemelten fontos közegészségügyi- és járványügyi kérdés is – hangsúlyozták.
