Neuropátia centrum nyílt Budaörsön és Siófokon

     Újabb két neuropátia centrum kezdte meg működését, az egyik a Pest megyei Budaörsön, a másik Somogy megyében, Siófokon – tájékoztatta a központokat képviselő kommunikációs cég kedden az MTI-vel.

    A neuropátia, vagyis az idegkárosodás a cukorbetegség egyik leggyakoribb szövődménye, viszont nagymértékben aluldiagnosztizált és alulkezelt állapot. Számos más okból kialakulhat, de leggyakoribb oka a diabetes. A betegség miatt évente négyezer lábamputációt végeznek Magyarországon, azonban a neuropátia korai felismerésével és hatékony gyógyszerekkel meg lehetne állítani a betegség előrehaladását.


    A Wörwag Pharma 1998 óta bővíti az országos neuropátia diagnosztikai hálózatot, biztosítva a centrumok korszerű diagnosztikai eszközeit. A fejlesztések révén több mint húsz neuropátia centrum működik az országban. Az országos hálózat évente 6-8000 beteg szűrését teszi lehetővé.


    Mind a két neuropátia centrum beutalóval fogadja a betegeket, a neuropátiás vizsgálata mellett a perifériás érbetegség szűrésére is van lehetőség – közölték.
