Krypto szuperkutya: tud repülni, és csak egy egészen kicsit nagyképű – de hát melyik kutya maradna szerény, ha Superman a gazdája, akivel osztozik a szupererőn, és együtt harcol Metropolis elvetemült bűnözői ellen?

Csakhogy az Igazság Ligájának összes tagját, így Supermant is elrabolja egy legfőbb főgonosz, és a kutya magára marad. Mit tehetne mást, mancsába veszi az irányítást. Különös társaságot terel össze: egy bamba vérebet, egy pocakos malacot, egy nem túl gyorsa teknőcöt és egy nagyszájú mókust, és együtt veti bele magát a mentőakcióba: kalandjaik során mindannyian új szuperképességekre tesznek szert, ami okoz némi kalamajkát, de azért jól jön a szupergonosz elleni embert- és állatot próbáló küzdelmek során.

Ennek a filmnek jó pár szuperképessége van: a legyőzhetetlen animációs humor egyesül benne a szuperfilmek látványos kalandjaival, de paródiának is nagyszerű: így még biztosan senki sem látta
