Haász János Gyulán született, két gyerekével és párjával Budapesten él. 2020 decembere óta a Telex.hu munkatársa, újságíróként elnyerte az Élet és Irodalom Tarnói Gizella-díját. Számos verset és novellát publikált folyóiratokban és antológiákban, több kötet szerkesztője. Első gyerekverses kötete, a Felnőtteknek nem 2017-ben jelent meg az Athenaeumnál.
