A jól ismert mesében mintha csak egy álom elevenedne meg: a kedves leány az erdőben összetalálkozik a jóképű herceggel.
Ezt a történetet is sokan és sokféleképpen mesélték már. A leányról azonban mindig kiderül, hogy voltaképpen egy hercegnő, akit egy Sötét Tündér megátkozott, hogy egy rokkával megszúrja az ujját, s ettől örök álomra szenderüljön.
