A Malek Andi Soulistic együttes egy korszakváltó találkozás eredménye.
Adott egy jazz-muzsikus, aki régóta figyeli a magyar népdalokat, és egy énekesnő, aki bármit is énekelt, a népzene mindig szívügye maradt.
Malek Andrea és Jáger Bandi közös produkciójában, amely az örömzene és a tudatosság kombinációjára, valamint a népzene, a jazz és az r&b elemeinek sajátos ötvözetére épül, népszerű és régóta elfeledett magyar népdalok hallhatók.
A projekt művészi igazgatója Jáger Bandi, de minden zenekari tag saját jogán van jelen, és a színpadon egy kicsit mindenki szólistává válik, s mindenki azon dolgozik, hogy a népdalok üzenete eljusson a közönséghez.
A magyar népdal pedig annyi lehetőséget kínál, s olyan gazdag, hogy nincs is más lehetőségünk, mint tisztelettel közelíteni felé.
