Kirúgták a kameruni U17-es labdarúgó-válogatott kétharmadát, mert a játékosok hazudtak az életkorukról

    A címvédő közép-afrikai csapat egy hete kezdte meg felkészülését az U17-es Afrikai Nemzetek Kupájára, melynek ötcsapatos selejtezőjére Limbében kerül sor. A Kameruni Labdarúgó Szövetség közleményben jelentette be, hogy a 30 fős utánpótláskeretéből 21 játékost azonnal hazaküldött a fizikai állapotfelmérések után. Az MRI-vizsgálatok során a csukló csontjainak fejlettségéből megállapították, hogy a futballisták hazudtak a korukról.


    Az angol Daily Mail című lap beszámolója szerint Samuel Eto’o, a szervezet elnöke már tavaly nyáron is fellépett a kor- és személyazonossági csalások ügyében, és nyolc klub 44 játékosával szemben indított vizsgálatot.


    A nemzeti szövetség még nem döntött a játékosok büntetéséről, de Eto’o azonnal elrendelte a vizsgálaton fennakadó labdarúgók kizárását a nemzeti csapatból.
