A Pixies, a The Breeders és a The Amps zenekarokból is ismert Kim Deal novemberben adta ki első, „Nobody Loves You More” című szólólemezét.

Az album „Big Ben Beat” című dalához a brit komikus, színész, író, rendező és műsorvezető, Richard Ayoade forgatott videóklipet, melyben ő maga, a családja, Kim Deal és a Savages dobosa, Fay Milton is feltűnnek. A kamerák mögött Erik Wilson (Walter Mitty titkos élete, A hasonmás) és a Christopher Ross (A sógun, Yesterday) álltak, a vágást az Oscar-díjas Chris Dickens végezte.

„Kevesen érnek fel Kim Deallel – a munkája kiinduló pontja is zseniális, és onnantól kezdve csak felfelé tart” – áradozott Richard Ayoade, akinek nevéhez rendezőként filmjein (pl. Submarine) kívül több videóklip is köthető. Az Arctic Moneys, a Kasabian, a Vampire Weekend és a Yeah Yeah Yeahs is dolgozott már vele.

Kim Deal március 1-jén a londoni Barbican Centre színpadán indította turnéját, melynek során az Amerikai Egyesült Államokat követően Európában fog koncertezni. A hozzánk legközelebb eső helyszín egyelőre a horvát INmusic Festival, ahol június 24-én lép fel.
