A kartonfless cím, a magyar szlengben mostanra meglehetősen elterjedt szó a füves cigaretta utolsó placebo szívását jelenti. Gál eredeti és átgondolt költői kísérlete arra a kérdésre próbál választ keresni, hogy miért is rossz divatból művelni bármilyen műfajt, szokást, rítust. Hogy a szorongás csak akkor szorongás, ha nem tévesztjük össze a meneküléssel. A kartonfless feszes szerkezetű, erős sodrású bemutatkozás, melyben, akár az elemek periódusos rendszerében, mindennek megvan a maga helye.

Gál Hunor 1995-ben született Gyergyószentmiklóson, jelenleg Kolozsvárott él. 2015 óta jelennek meg szövegei. 2019-ben kartonfless című kéziratával elnyerte a Petri György-díjat. Ez az első kötete.
