„A Csütörtök van áprilisban született. Azokban a napokban folyamatosan emelkedett a betegek száma, nem tudtuk, mi vár ránk. Én egy kis faluba költöztem, naponta egyszer néztem a híreket, különben meg bámultam az elhagyatott utcát. Itt, a tóparton könnyebb volt átvészelni ezeket a szorongató napokat, és az, hogy ezen a drámán dolgoztam, csak tovább oldotta bennem a feszültséget. Valószínűtlennek és abszurdnak tűnt minden, ami körülöttünk történik. A biciklit tekerő, maszkos parasztasszonyok, a faluban cirkáló hangosbemondós autó, a baljós csend, a lehúzott redőnyök, a félbehagyott építkezés a szeles strandon. Tavasz lett, aztán egyszer csak leesett a hó, utána meg elolvadt, és továbbra sem tudtunk semmit. Milyen nap van ma?- kérdezte minden reggel a kislányom. Csütörtök, mondtam az egyik reggelen, aznap, amikor álmosan keresgéltem a Zoomot, hogy csatlakozzunk az online órához. Csütörtök van, mondtam álmosan, mert alig aludtam valamit. Jó, hogy volt ez a felkérés, és jó, hogy volt az a szélcsengő az ajtónk előtt.” (Tóth Krisztina)
