Indítsd a februárt az Algiers koncertjén

Az Algiers elsöprő, punk-gospel zenéjével és a dobok mögött a Bloc Partyból ismert Matt Tonggal tér vissza Budapestre, hogy ismét megtáncoltassa a Dürer Kertet február 2-án.

Az Algiers olyan eszement, táncos, groove-os őrületet hoz a koncertjein, hogy receptre írnánk fel minden frusztrált embernek. Az atlantai zenekar – köztük a Bloc Party korábbi dobosa, Matt Tong – gospel és blues gyökerű punk ritmusaival, a zenészek átszellemült játékával beisszák magukat az agyakba és táncra késztetik a lábakat. Az atlantai zenekar nemrég tette át székhelyét Londonba az általuk egyre kevésbé kedvelt Amerikából, nem csoda, hogy dalaik is társadalom kritikusak és nem félnek odaszólni a világ vezetőinek. Nevük is Franciaország algériai háborújára utal.

Az Algiers 2017-ben jelentette meg a kritikusok által sokat dicsért The Underside of Power c. lemezét, ám mindez szinte semmi az élő produkció erejéhez képest, amit Budapesten már kétszer is volt szerencsénk átélni, február 2-án pedig már régi ismerősként köszönthetjük őket ismét a Dürer Kertben.
