Fred again.., brit zenei multitálentum megérkezett friss dalával, az „i adore u”-val, melyet a nigériai születésű, londoni székhelyű rapperrel, Obongjayar-ral jegyez.

2019-ben indította útjára ’Actual Life’ címre keresztelt, naplószerű trilógiáját a londoni művész, mellyel meghódította a nemzetközi elektronikus zenei piacot. Az albumsorozat 2022-ben megjelent harmadik részét is óriási elismeréssel fogadták mind a rajongók, mind a kritikusok, így nem csoda, hogy bekerült az idei Mercury-díj jelöltjei közé. A 2023-as évet Skrillex-szel és Flowdannel közös „Rumble” című trackkel indította Fred, mely a legendás Boiler Room online platformon debütált élőben. Majd májusban Brian Enoval (David Bowie, U2, Coldplay) egyesítette erőit és kiadta a meglepetésszerű 13 számot tartalmazó, ambient albumot, a ’Secret Life’-ot.

A most érkező eufórikus újdonság az ’Actual Life’ sajátságos, személyes hangvételét viszi tovább, ugyanis amellett, hogy az előadó a nővérének dedikálta a szerzeményt, Obongjayar 2022-es debütáló korongjáról, a „Some Nights I Dream Of Doors”-ról vett át szívhez szóló részleteket. Az afrobeat, soul és elektronikus stílusjegyeket viselő „i adore u” Fred első nyári felvétele, melyet az augusztus első hétvégéjén tartott, chicagói Lollapalooza fesztiválon mutatott be a nagyközönségnek óriási ováció közepette.
