Világok ütköznek össze, amikor a szupergyorsnál is gyorsabb Barry (Ezra Miller) arra használja a szupererejét, hogy visszafusson a múltba – reméli, hogy ha ott változtat, a jelen is más lesz. Csak a családja sorsát akarja jobbá tenni, a szülein szeretne segíteni, de sajnos, megtörténik, amiért nekirugaszkodott: megváltoztatja a jelent.

Egy újfajta valóság csapdájába esik. Ebben Zod tábornok visszatér, és a Föld elpusztításával fenyeget, de nincsenek szuperhősök, akik az emberiség segítségére siethetnének.

Ha meg akarja menteni a világot, amiben élt, és vissza akar térni a jövőbe, amit remél, Barrynek futnia kell. És különleges gyorsasága segítségével elő kell kerítenie azokat a szuperhősöket, akik segíthetnek a bajban. De nem pont azokat találja, akikért indult. És nem biztos, hogy az ő önfeláldozása elég hozzá, hogy helyretolja a kizökkent valóságot.

Andy Muschietti rendező (aki az AZ mindkét részét sikerre vitte), fantasztikus szereplőgárdát toborzott egy fantasztikus történethez, amelynek minden pillanata új meglepetés, fordulat, látvány… és szupererő!
