Magyarországi bemutató: 2024. szeptember 19.

Ájuldozó gyerekek és végeláthatatlan beszédek az ünnepélyes tanévnyitón. Finomfőzelék és hipós felmosóvíz jellegzetes szaga a menzán. A Berlinből hazaköltözött tízéves Palkó (Paul Mátis) csodálkozva szemléli egy átlagos magyar iskola mindennapjait. Egyedül Juci néni (Mészöly Anna), a pályakezdő tanárnő érti őt meg igazán, aki szintén elszenvedője a házmester-kultúrában megragadt intézményi rendszernek.

Szimler Bálint, a Cannes-ban vetített Itt vagyok és a Balaton Method alkotója elkészítette első fikciós nagyjátékfilmjét, amelynek kedvéért hazatért korábbi állandó alkotótársa, a már főleg Hollywoodban dolgozó operatőr, Rév Marcell (Eufória, Az idol, A feleségem története). A helyenként groteszkbe hajló, örkényi hagyományokat továbbvivő Fekete pont az egyik legrégebben alapított, legnagyobb presztízsű A-kategóriás seregszemle, a Locarnói Nemzetközi Filmfesztivál első- és másodfilmes alkotókat felvonultató szekciójában versenyez.
