Az Ennio Morricone egy 2021-es olasz dokumentumfilm a 2020 nyarán, 91 évesen elhunyt zeneszerzőről. Rendezője az a Giuseppe Tornatore, aki többek között az Oscar nyertes, Cinema Paradisót is készítette. Ekkor dolgozott először a maestróval, együttműködésük pedig további 12 alkotásban folytatódott, így közel 3 évtizednyi munkakapcsolattal és néhány korábbi dokumentumfilmmel a háta mögött nem alaptalanul vágott bele a 156 perces életrajzi megemlékezésbe. Az alkotás körbevezet minket a Sergio Leonéval való legendás zenéktől az Aljas nyolcasig, amellyel Quentin Tarantino nemcsak, hogy először használt komponistát, mindjárt Oscar-díjassá tette az olasz ikont, aki korábban már rendelkezett életműdíjjal is. A dokumentumfilm betekintést nyújt Morricone világkörüli turnéiba, miközben olyan megszólalók sztorizgatnak a rendezőn kívül, mint Tarantino, Clint Eastwood, Oliver Stone, Hans Zimmer, Barry Levinson, Dario Argento, Quincy Jones, Bruce Springsteen vagy John Williams. Novembertől a mozikban!
