Decemberben az Akváriumban lép fel Sinead O’Connor

Négy év kihagyás után ismét turnéra indul a Grammy-díjas, ír énekes-dalszerző, Sinead O’Connor. December 9-én, a NagyHallban hallhatja a közönség.

Sinead O’Connor 1966. december 8-án született Dublinban, John és Marie O’Connor 3. gyermekeként.  1987-ben, huszonévesen robbant be a köztudatba The Lion and the Cobra című albumával, amit saját maga producereként rögzített, a felvételek alatt pedig épp első gyermekét várta. A kopasz, vadóc énekesnőt már ekkor, azonnal megjegyezte a közönség.

Ezt követte 1990-ben a Nothing Compares 2 U című Prince-dal feldolgozása, amivel azonnal a slágerlisták élére ugrott, és egyből világszinten elismert énekesnővé vált. Az azóta eltelt csaknem három évtized alatt számtalan stílusban kipróbálta magát, az ír folktól a reggae-n át az alternatív rockig. Sinead O’Connor közismerten erős véleménnyel bír mind társadalmi, mind vallási, mind emberjogi kérdésekben. 2018-ban muszlim vallásra váltott és nevet is változtatott.

Négy év kihagyás után 2019-ben ismét turnéra indul, december 9-én pedig az Akvárium Klubban tapasztalhatja meg a Sinead O’Connor élményt a közönség.
