Az IKEA jövőre megszünteti az egyszer használatos műanyag termékeket

    Az IKEA valamennyi paicán kivonja január elsejétől az egyszer használatos műanyag termékeket, egyebek mellett az egyszer használatos műanyag szívószálakat, tányérokat, poharakat, evőeszközöket és fagyasztótasakokat – közölte a svéd lakberendezési vállalat hétfőn az MTI-vel.

    A közleményben Vladimir Vísek, a cseh-magyar-szlovák régió fenntarthatósági vezetője kifejtette az intézkedés célja, hogy a vásárlóikat arra ösztönözzék, hogy a termékeket hosszú ideig használják, és azokat részesítsék előnyben, amelyek fenntartható módon készültek, a műanyagok esetében például újrahasznosított PET palackokból.


    Kiemelték, 2030-ra az IKEA csak olyan termékeket fog gyártani, amelyek megújuló vagy újrahasznosított anyagokból készültek, továbbá támogatja a használt termékek felújítását, újraeladását, illetve újrafeldolgozását.
