A Snail Maillel és Interpollal turnézó The Goon Sax albuma deluxe kiadást kap

A brisbane-i The Goon Sax triója júliusban jelentette meg harmadik, „Mirror II„ című lemezét, mely a zenekar első kiadványa volt a Matador Records szárnyai alatt. Rajongóik örömére a népszerű albumhoz most egy digitális deluxe kiadás is készült. A „Mirror II (Deluxe Edition)” dalai között helyet kapott négy eddig kiadatlan felvétel is, köztük az „In the Stone” demójával és a Len 1999-es, „Steal My Sunshine” című slágerének a feldolgozásával.

A banda előtt mozgalmas időszak áll, mivel Európában és Észak-Amerikában is előzenekarként kísérik majd Snail Mailt, illetve ősszel az Interpol és a Spoon közös, „Light, Camera, Factions” nevezetű turnéján is közreműködnek majd. Magyar dátum egyelőre nincs, az állomásokat ide kattintva lehet végigböngészni.

Az ausztrál csapat Riley Jones, Louis Forster és James Harrison középiskolában megalakult triója – egy szoros barátságon alapuló szerelemprojekt, melyben a tagok felváltva írnak dalokat, énekelnek és játszanak valamennyi hangszeren. Harmadik lemezük egyfajta újrakezdés: egy többdimenziós, eklektikus utazás, amely a diszkóból a folkon keresztül egészen a no wave-ig vezet minket. Szerzeményei a korábbiakhoz képest univerzálisabbak és furcsábbak is.
