A Skillet júniusban ötödször jön Magyarországra

Ötödször ad koncertet Magyarországon a Skillet. Az egyik legismertebb amerikai keresztény rockzenekar ezúttal a Budapest Parkban játszik június 10-én.

A Skillet tavaly ősszel megjelent új, immár tizenkettedik albuma, a Revolution bemutatására szervezett turné keretében érkezik a magyar fővárosba – közölte a szervező Live Nation hétfőn az MTI-vel.

Az 1996-ban alakult zenekar eddigi lemezi közül kettőt (Collide – 2003; Comatose – 2006) is jelöltek Grammy-díjra. Dalaik Marvel-filmekben, pankrációs és amerikai futball eseményeken is felcsendültek.

A dallamos hard-rock zenét játszó memphisi keresztény csapatban egy házaspár, John Cooper (ének, basszusgitár) és Korey Cooper (billentyűs hangszerek, vokál) zenél, őket a dobos Jen Ledger és a gitáros Seth Morrison egészíti ki.

A Skillet először 2016-ban járt Magyaroszágon, akkor a soproni VOLT Fesztiválon, akárcsak 2018-ban és 2022-ben. Legutóbb 2023-ban, Dominion című lemezükkel léptek fel hazánkban, a budapesti Barba Negrában.
