A vadonatúj Lexus NX Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley és Michael Peña oldalán szerepel Roland Emmerich rendező új, nagyszabású sci-fijében. A tét nem más mint a világ megmentése, amiből nem csupán a vadonatúj Lexus NX, hanem a Michael Peña megformált karakter, egy Lexus márkakereskedő is alaposan kivaszi a részét a film sztorija szerint.

A Lexus újabb izgalmas filmszerepet vállalt, ezúttal a Moonfall című új, nagyszabású, sci-fi katasztrófafilm autóipari partnereként, amely a nemzetközileg elismert rendező, a Függetlenség napját és a Holnaputánt is jegyző Roland Emmerich munkáját dicséri, és 2022 februárjában mutatkozik be a mozikban világszerte, Magyarországon feburár 3-án debütál. A Moonfallban egy titokzatos erő kitéríti a Holdat a Föld körüli pályájáról, veszélybe sodorva az emberiséget. A vadonatúj Lexus NX kulcsszerepet játszik abban a hősies küldetésben, amelynek célja, hogy helyreállítsa a Holdat Föld körüli pályáján, és ezzel megmentse az egész világot. A Lexus kiemelt szerepet kapott a filmben. A vadonatúj NX modellt Charlie Plummer karaktere, Sonny Harper vezeti egy háromperces, akciódús jelenetben. A Lexus GX luxusterepjáró kormányzati autóként tűnik fel, amelyet Halle Berry karaktere, Jo Fowler használ. Ha mindez még nem lenne elég, Michael Peña karaktere, Tom Lopez egy Lexus-kereskedőt, és a film egyik jelenete az ő kereskedésében játszódik.
