A Casio és régi-új csapata továbbra is együtt a Száguldó Cirkuszban

A Casio bejelentette, hogy két évvel meghosszabbította hivatalos támogatói szerződését a Forma 1-ben szereplő Scuderia Alpha Tauri csapattal, korábbi nevén a Scudeira Toro Rosso-val. A japán óragyártó és a versenycsapat közötti együttműködésnek köszönhetően tovább folytatódhat a Casio Edifice órák nemzetközi ismertségének növelése. A szponzori támogatás a „Sebesség és intelligencia” koncepció keretében valósul meg.


Az észak-olaszországi Faenza városában főhadiszállással rendelkező Scuderia Alpha Tauri csapat teljesen újraszervezett alapokon vág neki a március 15-én, Ausztráliában kezdődő szezonnak. Az istálló színeiben idén a francia Pierre Gasly, valamint az orosz Danyil Kyjat fog versenyezni.

A csapat első konstrukcióját, az AlphaTauri AT01 névre keresztelt, sötétkék-fehérre festett versenyautót 2020. február 14-én mutatták be hivatalosan. A formula1.com internetes oldal által rendezett szavazás szerint a versenyautó kedvező fogadtatásra talált a rajongók körében, ugyanis a közel 6000 válaszadó 72%-a válaszolta azt, hogy eddig az új Scuderia Alpha Tauri versenyautó tekinthető a legszebbnek a 2020-as szezonban.
