Miért vállalná magára négy nő is ugyanannak a gyilkosságnak az elkövetését?

Vendégek érkeznek az év esküvőjére egy kaliforniai luxusszállodába. A meghívottak között szerepel három főiskolai barátnő is – Ginger, Emily és Kate –, akik a diplomaosztójuk óta nem találkoztak, no meg az ötödik férjét fogyasztó Lulu. Okosak, szórakoztatóak, de megkeseredettek, ráadásul mind egy-egy titkot őriznek, és mindent megtennének azért, hogy ez továbbra is titok maradjon.
