A Szigeté volt az év legjobb zenei felhozatala 2017-ben

A Line-up of the year, azaz a tavalyi év legjobb zenei felhozatalának díját vehették át a Sziget képviselői az European Festival Awards, a fesztiválok legnagyobb megmérettetésének díjátadó gáláján szerdán késő este a  hollandiai Groningenben – közölte a Sziget sajtóiroda az MTI-vel.

Az European Festival Awardson a Sziget az elmúlt években többször és több kategóriában is megkapta a legjobbnak járó díjat. Így kétszer volt már  Európa legjobb nagyfesztiválja, nyert már a legjobb zenei felhozatalért járó díjat és volt a fellépők kedvenc fesztiválja, tavaly pedig a év életmű díját is átvehették, amit a Sziget korábban tragikus autóbalesetben elhunyt munkatársa, Dan Panaitescu posztumusz kapott meg.

Az idei gálán a zenei felhozatalért járó díjjal a magyar fesztivál olyan versenyrtársakat előzött meg, mint például a Glastonbury, a Roskilde vagy a Lollapalooza. A kategória 10 legjobb fesztiváljának listáját szakemberek állították össze, ezután közönségszavazással dőlt el a végeredmény. A díj átadásakor hangsúlyozták, hogy a megmérettésben nemcsak a headlinerek számítanak, hanem a teljes program – áll a Sziget sajtóiroda közleményében.
